 ornia\, Berkeley\n\nProfessor Malmender received her PhD in Business Econo
 mics from Harvard University\, and her PhD in Law (summa cum laude) from t
 he University of Bonn.\n\nProfessor Malmendier's research interests are co
 rporate finance\, behavioral economics/behavioral finance\, economics of o
 rganizations\, contract theory\, law and economics\, law and finance. Her 
 research is published in leading journals including American Economic Revi
 ew\, Quarterly Journal of Economics\, Journal of Finance and Journal of Ec
 onomic Literature\, She has earned numerous awards including Fischer Black
  Prize by the American Finance Association.
