gs for session 8 Feb 2024:\nMarzouk\, Manar et al. “Health system evalua
tion in conflict-affected countries: a scoping review of approaches and me
thods.” Conflict and health vol. 17\,1 30. 19 Jun. 2023.\nStrengthening
health systems in conflict-affected settings has become increasingly profe
ssionalised. However\, evaluation remains challenging and often insufficie
ntly documented in the literature. Many\, particularly small-scale health
system evaluations\, are conducted by government bodies or non-governmenta
l organisations (NGO) with limited capacity to publish their experiences.
It is essential to identify the existing literature and main findings as a
baseline for future efforts to evaluate the capacity and resilience of co
nflict-affected health systems. The paper aimed to synthesise the scope of
methodological approaches and methods used in the peer-reviewed literatur
e on health system evaluation in conflict-affected settings.\n\nThis readi
ng group is in-person only.\n\nFor enquiries or article suggestions\, plea
se contact convenors Saleyha Ahsan (sa2027@cam.ac.uk) or Charlotte Hammer
 (ch950@cam.ac.uk)\n
