DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the theories of Regularity Structures\, Paracontrol
led Distributions\nand Renormalisation we now have a robust framework for
singular SPDEs\, which are “sub-critical”\nin the sense of renormalisa
tion. Recently\, there have been efforts to approach the situation\nof “
critical” SPDEs and statistical mechanics models. A first such treatment
has been\nthrough the study of the two-dimensional stochastic heat equati
on\, which has revealed a\ncertain phase transition and has led to the con
struction of the novel object called the\nCritical 2d Stochastic Heat Flow
. In this talk we will present some aspects of this model\nand its constru
ction. We will also present developments relating to other critical SPDEs.
\nParts of this talk are based on joint works with Caravenna and Sun and o
 thers with Rosati and Gabriel.
