DESCRIPTION:The theory of hydrodynamic limits allows one to rigorously der
 ive \npartial differential equations as a many-particle limit of an underl
 ying \nstochastic Markov process. In this talk I will present the basic \n
 concepts of the theory and show my own work regarding to the derivation \n
 of PDEs that exhibit chemotaxis-like behaviour.
