DESCRIPTION:Cambridge University Library has one of the world’s richest 
 and most diverse collections of manuscripts and books in Greek or relating
  to Greek history. The collection rapidly expanded between c.1500-1715\, r
 anging from travelogues to grammars and from editions of Homer to Eastern 
 Orthodox Bibles.\n\nIn this evening’s talk\, Dr Anastasia Stylianou\, Mu
 nby Fellow in Global Bibliography 2023-24\, will explore how these texts s
 erved as points of contact between the early modern East and West\, especi
 ally between British intellectuals and religious reformers and Greek commu
 nities across the Mediterranean and Middle East.
