DESCRIPTION:The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo was the largest in the twentieth
century injecting 30Tg of sulfate into the stratosphere. The period after
the eruption was associated with low values of stratospheric ozone and dec
reased rates of increase of greenhouse gases. We use nudged versions of th
e UKCA model to provide hindcasts of the period to study causes of these c
 hanges.
