 Keynote Speaker:\n\n*PROFESSOR SIR NASSER D. KHALILI* is a world-renowned 
 scholar\, collector\, philanthropist\, and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.\nSi
 r David\, a distinguished scholar and collector of Islamic art is an acade
 mic benefactor. He has curated one of the world's largest private art coll
 ections\, comprising 35\,000 works exhibited in 44 museums worldwide. His 
 academic contributions include publishing over eighty volumes on his colle
 ctions\, involving leading global experts. Sir David established the Nasse
 r D. Khalili Chair of Islamic Art and Archaeology at SOAS\, and a visiting
  professorship at Queens College\, CUNY. He is a Fellow of the Centre for 
 Resilience and Sustainable Development (CRSD) at the University of Cambrid
 ge\, UK.\n\nThrough the Khalili Foundation\, Sir David uses art to promote
  peace and cultural understanding\, collaborating with UNESCO\, the Common
 wealth\, and the Prince’s Trust. His foundation’s significant projects
  include the 'Faith in the Commonwealth' initiative\, enhancing global cit
 izenship and religious literacy among youth. Additionally\, as a co-founde
 r of the Global Hope Coalition\, Sir David leads efforts to empower commun
 ities against extremism and intolerance. His numerous honorary fellowships
  and awards underscore his influential role in global cultural and educati
 onal fields.\n\nAs a Fellow at the Centre for Resilience and Sustainable D
 evelopment (CRSD) at the University of Cambridge\, on May 23 he will be re
 flecting on his commitment to sustainability and resilience in educational
  initiatives.
