DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Dr. Siddharth Gandhi\, an assi
 stant professor at the University of Warwick\, will be delivering the four
 th talk of our Astro Career Talk Series.\n \n*Event Details*\n\nDate: 24th

 e\n \n*Dr. Siddharth Gandhi’s Bio:*\n\nI work on the characterisation of
  exoplanetary atmospheres\, encompassing observations from both the ground
  and space\, and studying a range of planets\, from very hot close-in tran
 siting planets to directly imaged exoplanets at large distances from their
  host star.\n\n* Originally from India\, I have lived in the UK since I wa
 s 7.\n* Completed my undergraduate degree in Physics at Cambridge\, later 
 transitioning to astronomy.\n* Earned my PhD at the IoA under Prof N Madhu
 sudhan\, focusing on atmospheric modelling for various planets.\n* Postdoc
 toral research at Warwick with Prof Matteo Brogi\, emphasizing high-resolu
 tion ground observations.\n* Held the Oort fellowship in Leiden before my 
 current role as Assistant Professor at Warwick\, starting October 2023.\n*
