DESCRIPTION:This will be the final meeting of the Statistics Clinic for Mi
 chaelmas.\n\nThe Statistics Clinic is a fortnightly meeting between Statis
 ticians and Machine Learners on one side and Researchers (Graduate Student
 s and Research Staff) on the other. The Statisticians provide advice on al
 l questions relating to uncertainty\, hypothesis testing\, data modeling a
 nd inference.\n\nThe idea is to keep the threshold to participation as low
  as possible: All graduate students and researchers are invited\, regardle
 ss of their field. If you have a lot of highly structured data\, or very l
 ittle\, noisy data\, if you do not know how to test the validity of a part
 icular hypothesis or infer an unmeasurable quantity from observations of d
 ependent variables\, you are very much invited to come and join us.\n\nIf
