DESCRIPTION:Holden Thorp was chancellor of UNC-Chapel Hill\, provost of Wa
 shington University in St. Louis\, and now Editor-in-Chief of Science.  Al
 though he had trouble with social interactions throughout life\, particula
 rly in large groups as UNC Chancellor\, he was not diagnosed as autistic u
 ntil age 53 while considering whether to become a chancellor again. His jo
 urney to the neurodiversity movement involved consulted with many outstand
 ing experts on autism and reflections on challenges autistic leaders face.
 \n\nThis event will be held at the *Winstanley Lecture Theatre*\, Trinity 
 College\, Cambridge. Doors open at 10am\, and the talk will commence at 10
 .30am. There isn’t a booking system for  so please aim to arrive early t
 o secure your seat. We will also be hosting this online if you prefer to j
 oin remotely.
