DESCRIPTION:The elasticity problem for an elastic space weakened by a sphe
 rical cavity is considered. It is assumed that an axisymmetric normal load
  is applied to the elastic space from the cavity side. Two types of loads 
 are considered\, both static and steady state. Exact solutions of the prob
 lems in terms of displacements and stresses were obtained with the help of
