DESCRIPTION:Large-scale structure surveys provide key information about th
e content and geometry of our Universe. They typically measure the velocit
y of galaxies and the Weyl potential\, through gravitational lensing. In t
his talk\, I will show that these two quantities are not enough to test th
e law of gravity and the properties of dark matter in a model-independent
way. However\, the coming generation of surveys will allow us to measure a
n additional quantity\, the distortion of time\, through the effect of gra
vitational redshift. I will present the methodology to detect this effect\
, and I will discuss how it can be used to test gravity and dark matter.
