DESCRIPTION:The quantum computing platform based on neutral-atom qubits he
ld and controlled by laser beams is taking the field by the storm. I will
focus on an analogue-mode device called Aquila\, QuEra’s publicly access
ible neutral-atom quantum computer sporting up to 256 qubits arranged in p
rogrammable arrays and global control of the Rydberg interactions between
them. I will start with how Aquila works under the hood and describe its c
apabilities accessible to you on the cloud. I will then present several pi
lot applications using Aquila in quantum simulation and machine learning.
 I will then describe the next-generation\, digital-mode quantum computer\,
capable of universal programmability and error correction\, with an outlo
ok towards fault tolerance and scale.
