 East of England for the Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network to facilita
 te knowledge transfer between stakeholders in the electronics industry reg
 arding trends and opportunities which will impact their business.\n\nGreen
  IT refers to environmentally or sustainable technologies in computing\, t
 o enable devices to become more energy efficient\, which can influence the
  design of electronics within those devices. Dr Andy Rice\, from the Unive
 rsity of Cambridge’s Computer Lab will focus on ‘Computing for the Fut
 ure’ whilst Gary Hird\, Strategy Manager for the John Lewis Partnership 
 will illustrate how a large corporation has implemented a green IT infrast
