DESCRIPTION:The LOFAR wide-area sky survey LoTSS aims to cover almost all
of the Northern sky with a typical sensitivity of 144 MHz per 6-arcsec bea
m at 144 MHz. This high sensitivity and resolution enables a very wide ran
ge of science\, particularly when combined with new wide-area optical imag
ing and spectroscopic surveys. I'll give a brief overview of the survey an
d some highlights from the AGN-related science we've been doing with it\,
together with a look at future prospects for LOFAR 2.0 and the SKA.
