DESCRIPTION:I will review the basic properties of gravitational scattering
  and discuss their interplay with the principles of S-matrix theory.\nI wi
 ll argue that gravitational amplitudes admit twice-subtracted dispersion r
 elations\, and demonstrate how these can be used to derive novel constrain
 ts on the low-energy\ngravitational effective field theories and their UV 
 completions.
