DESCRIPTION:I am interested in the cellular and molecular basis of CD4 mem
 ory\, and how this evolved in the modern mammalian immune system.  In part
 icular\, we have identified lymphoid tissue inducer cells as critical regu
 lators of CD4 memory\, and are interested in how these cells might be unde
 rmined by infection\, but also manipulated to control unwanted CD4 driven 
 immune responses
