DESCRIPTION:All explosive articles need to undergo experimental trials in 
 order to handle and transport safely. Additionally\, the researching the b
 ehaviour of energetic materials cannot solely be limited to gram levels in
  laboratories and computational modelling. This talk is on larger (kilogra
 m) scale explosive trials: what they are\, why they are done and the steps
  taken to do them from a more practical than theoretical perspective.
