DESCRIPTION:Recent progress in birational geometry has allowed for the dev
 elopment of a moduli theory for higher dimensional varieties patterned on 
 the classical moduli theory of stable curves.\nI will spend some time expl
 aining these new developments\, before changing gears and considering the 
 related problem of constructing moduli spaces of fibrations and indicate p
 erspective on this problem through a broader framework of moduli of foliat
 ions.\n
