DESCRIPTION:I will explain a computation\, in a range\, of the stable rati
 onal cohomology of the moduli space of connected sums of S^k^ × S^l^\, ex
 tending work of Ebert–Reinhold. A particular emphasis will be placed on 
 the methods involved\; this includes work joint with Berglund on a certain
  type of algebraic model for the titular block diffeomorphisms (inspired b
 y results of Berglund–Zeman)\, as well as graph complexes à la Kontsevi
 ch.
