DESCRIPTION:Precision studies of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matri
x provide a critical test of the Standard Model (SM). In this talk\, I wil
l review the status of the Unitarity Triangle as a key tool for stress-tes
ting the SM in light of recent inputs and measurements for CKM metrology.
I will discuss the stringent constraints on New Physics derived from the g
eneralized ∣ΔF∣=2 effective Hamiltonian and their implications for ph
ysics beyond the SM (BSM). Given these constraints and the ongoing direct
searches at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)\, I will then introduce Sponta
neous Flavor Violation as a complementary framework to Minimal Flavor Viol
ation for BSM physics. Using a Two Higgs Doublet Model as an example\, I w
ill demonstrate how a "charming" Higgs could be observed at the LHC while
still respecting the strong bounds from Flavor Physics. In this charming r
egime\, new Higgs states near the electroweak scale with large couplings t
o quarks are predicted\, offering complementary observables and new insigh
ts into the measurement of Yukawa couplings at colliders.
