 rnalist_*\n\nThe Copenhagen Summit was the world’s opportunity to take a
 ction on the climate for our future. Without legally binding targets\, whe
 re does this leave us?\n\nAs an ardent sceptic of mainstream attitudes tow
 ards climate change\, Lord Lawson wrote recently “Copenhagen will fail 
 – and quite right too”. In his controversial view\, the science is sti
 ll unreliable and the need to reduce carbon emissions is questionable.\n\n
 Having been Chancellor of the Exchequer under Margaret Thatcher\, Lord Law
 son recently announced the launch of the ‘Global Warming Policy Foundati
 on’ which aims to challenge government policies and attitudes towards cl
 imate change.\n\nThough undoubtedly controversial\, the talk will certainl
 y provide an insight into the views of one of our most prominent and artic
