DESCRIPTION:People imagine and believe in ethnic communities and nation st
 ates\, but today others think it is a mistake to confine citizenship to et
 hnic communities and\, ultimately\, states. My talk deals the first dimens
 ion\, although I refer it in one case: non-radical Basque's ideology\, in 
 Spain. The PNV (National Basque Party) is supporting that the Basque Peopl
 e or Euskal Herria (the Basque name for the Basque Country) are a people w
 ith their own identity among the peoples of Europe\, a repository of uniqu
 e historical\, social and cultural heritage\, which is geographically sett
 led in seven territories.
