DESCRIPTION:In this seminar we will give an overview of methods developed 
 in our interdisciplinary teams across the Department of Applied Mathematic
 s and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) and the Department of Radiology to fight
  diseases like cancer with imaging. We will discuss different problems and
  data-driven solutions we work on for different radiological imaging modal
 ities such as Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. These wi
 ll include image reconstruction and inverse problems\, tumour detection an
 d segmentation methods and machine learning-based approaches to tumour cla
 ssification and prediction of patient response to treatment.
