DESCRIPTION:Blood stem and progenitor cells ensure blood production (terme
 d haematopoiesis) for a lifetime\; this is achieved by balancing self-rene
 wal and differentiation. However\, how endogenous molecules can impact on 
 this balance is still a matter of study. The scope of my project is to unc
 over the effects of the thyroid hormone on this critical process\, leverag
 ing on both cellular cultures and mouse models.
