DESCRIPTION:While believed to be in the KPZ universiality class\, the lack
  of an integrable structure has made analysis of first passage percolation
  particularly challenging.  For rotationally invariant first passage perco
 lation on the plane we prove a version of the scaling relations between th
 e passage times fluctuation and transversal fluctuations of geodesics and 
 give the first improvement on the Benjamini\, Kalai and Schramm variance b
 ound.
