 o prevent the some of the worst effects of global warming and the impacts 
 of climate change are already being felt. In the Arctic sea ice is melting
  at an astonishing rate putting Inuit communities across the Arctic\, alon
 g with wildlife such as polar bears and reindeer\, at severe risk. But the
 re is perhaps some hope\, the talk will describe research on whether it is
  possible to thicken Arctic sea ice\, thereby preserving it whilst we redu
 ce global temperatures.
