DESCRIPTION:Despite the discovery of thousands of exoplanets in the innerm
ost regions of planetary systems\, planets at 10s of au remain poorly cons
trained\, with their existence often inferred from the presence of planeta
ry material in the form of debris discs. JWST's sensitivity\, combined wit
h detailed analysis of debris disc morphology\, presents an exciting oppor
tunity to study these outer populations and test our understanding of plan
etary system architecture. In this talk\, I will present the results from
three JWST programs targeting giant planets in systems with well-resolved
debris disc substructures and astrometric accelerations\, both evidence of
planetary influence. By investigating planet-disc interactions and using
observational upper limits\, I will demonstrate how stringent constraints
can be set on the population of planets in these systems\, allowing for th
e testing of planet formation theories.\n\n
