DESCRIPTION:Zannah is a Research Assistant\, Roving Researcher\, and part
time PhD student. Her interest in O. hominis began in 2009\, when the (uni
dentified) bacterium appeared in a preliminary microbiome dataset that she
generated at the Sanger Institute. In 2017 she sequenced the first genome
s from nasal samples\, and in 2019 proposed the candidate species. Her PhD
project aims to characterise O. hominis' interactions with other bacteria
in the respiratory tract and with the human host. \n\nChaired by Sophia B
