DESCRIPTION:Living robots represent a new frontier in engineering material
 s for robotic systems\, incorporating biological living cells and syntheti
 c materials into their design. These bio-hybrid robots are dynamic and int
 elligent\, potentially harnessing living matter’s capabilities\, such as
  growth\, regeneration\, morphing\, biodegradation\, and environmental ada
 ptation. Such attributes position bio-hybrid devices as a transformative f
 orce in robotics development\, promising enhanced dexterity\, adaptive beh
 aviors\, sustainable production\, robust performance\, and environmental s
 tewardship. Nature’s musculoskeletal design can act as an inspiration fo
 r both artificial and living robots. We will explore recent advances in ar
 tificial electrohydraulic musculoskeletal robots\, which employ electrohyd
 raulic actuators to produce lifelike muscle contractions and adaptive moti
 ons\, as demonstrated in our recent work published in Nature Communication
 s. We will also dive deeper into our breakthroughs in vision-controlled in
 kjet printing for robotics from our Nature paper last year. We will then t
 ouch on xolographic biofabrication techniques\, which enabled our biohybri
 d swimmers shown at RoboSoft. Additionally\, we will discuss the computati
 onal optimization of musculoskeletal systems through approaches presented 
 in our recent work published at Humanoids. Together\, these projects showc
 ase how musculoskeletal\, bio-hybrid\, and computational techniques are op
 ening new frontiers in robotics interaction and manipulation.\n\nThe semin
