DESCRIPTION:Research:  Multi-Carrier Bursting: Feasibility\, Analysis and 
 Implementation\, Bogdan Roman\n\nThis talk will present a few innovative d
 esigns that have in common the usage of individual subcarriers within the 
 same OFDM wireless channel and the transmission of short energy bursts\, t
 o achieve various purposes: cognitive radio spectrum sensing\, mass acknow
 legment and wireless access control. We shall then look in more depth at t
 he real-world challenges and the implementation feasibility of the propose
 d designs. An analytical model and hardware implementation that are more s
 pecific to the wireless access control scheme are then presented along wit
 h various results in comparison with traditional schemes.\n\nSkills: Best

 ntation on as many as we can fit in to 30 minutes.
