DESCRIPTION:*Abstract*\nStay tuned!\n\n*Bio*\n\nPatrik Jansson is a Profes
 sor of Computer Science at Chalmers University of Technology and the Unive
 rsity of Gothenburg in Sweden\, where he has been since 2011. He earned hi
 s PhD from Chalmers in 2000 and specializes in functional programming\, do
 main-specific languages\, and their applications in climate impact researc
 h and fusion optimization. Jansson leads projects like OptiFun\, which foc
 uses on optimizing fusion confinement designs\, and has contributed to EU-
 funded initiatives such as GRACeFUL (Global systems Rapid Assessment tools
  through Constraint FUnctional Languages). He teaches courses on Domain-Sp
 ecific Languages of Mathematics and Functional Programming\, along with Cl
 imate Impact Research. An active researcher\, Jansson has published extens
 ively in journals like the Journal of Plasma Physics and the Journal of Fu
 nctional Programming. He shares insights about his work and academic activ
 ities on his professional website and is based at the EDIT building on the
  Johanneberg campus of Chalmers University.
