DESCRIPTION:CGHR Practitioner Series: Meet Fred Abrahams\n\nFred Abrahams 
 worked for nearly 30 years at Human Rights Watch\, first as a researcher a
 nd then as a senior manager. He helped start the Emergencies division\, no
 w called the Crisis\, Conflict and Arms division\, and has worked in place
 s such as Albania\, Kosovo\, Sri Lanka\, Syria\, Libya\, and Israel/Palest
 ine. Most recently he supervised HRW’s divisions that cover Crisis and C
 onflict\, Arms and Technology\, including the Digital Investigations Lab\,
  and managed HRW’s internal research training.\n\nFred worked at the Yug
 oslav war crimes tribunal and has testified in five war crimes trials\, in
 cluding against former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. His books in
 clude A Village Destroyed: War Crimes in Kosovo (co-written) and Modern Al
 bania: from Dictatorship to Democracy. Today he teaches human rights at Ba
 rd College Berlin and is faculty lead of BCB’s Digital Verification Corp
