DESCRIPTION:China is a global manufacturing powerhouse\, producing over ha
 lf of the world’s steel\, aluminum\, and cement\, and contributing appro
 ximately 30% of global manufacturing value added. However\, manufacturing 
 remains the largest source of heat-trapping emissions in the country.\n\nT
 o achieve carbon neutrality\, China must accelerate industrial decarboniza
 tion after 2030\, when emissions are projected to peak. This seminar will 
 explore the opportunities and challenges associated with decarbonizing Chi
 na's manufacturing sector. It will present case studies from key heavy ind
 ustries\, such as steel and aluminum\, and analyze the potential impacts o
 f carbon reduction initiatives.\n\nThe discussion will also focus on how i
 ndustrial enterprises in China can transition their net-zero commitments f
 rom ambition to actionable strategies\, transforming carbon neutrality obl
 igations into economic opportunities.\n
