DESCRIPTION:Dr Annabel Dulhunty is currently leading two projects on clima
 te justice: one on climate\, gender and diversity in the Indian Sundarbans
 \, and the other on climate coloniality in the Pacific.\n\nThis talk will 
 discuss the legacy of climate injustice in the Indian Sundarbans\, particu
 larly how it has impacted the most marginalised populations – intersecti
 ng with caste\, religion and gender. Drawing on interviews with affected c
 ommunities\, this discussion will also highlight strategies for resistanc
 e. Finally\, this talk will examine current climate financing mechanisms\,
  such as the Loss and Damage Fund\, addressing what may be needed to make 
 these schemes work for impacted communities.
