DESCRIPTION:By popular demand\, the Stats Clinic returns in Lent 2010! Lik
 e last term\, we will meet fortnightly\, starting on 27 Jan\, ending 10 Ma
 rch.\n\nThe Statistics Clinic is a fortnightly meeting between Statisticia
 ns and Machine Learners on one side and Researchers (Graduate Students and
  Research Staff) on the other. The Statisticians provide advice on all que
 stions relating to uncertainty\, hypothesis testing\, data modeling and in
 ference.\n\nThe idea is to keep the threshold to participation as low as p
 ossible: All graduate students and researchers are invited\, regardless of
  their field. If you have a lot of highly structured data\, or very little
 \, noisy data\, if you do not know how to test the validity of a particula
 r hypothesis or infer an unmeasurable quantity from observations of depend
 ent variables\, you are very much invited to come and join us.\n\nIf you w
