DESCRIPTION:State preparation is crucial for the simulation of quantum sys
 tems. In this talk\, I will discuss recent advances in sampling Gibbs stat
 es through Lindbladian time evolution. I will highlight key challenges in 
 implementing these techniques on quantum hardware and explore potential so
 lutions. Finally\, I will examine connections to driven dissipative time-d
 ynamics\, enabling implementation on near-term quantum devices.
