 sed frameworks that drive responsible innovation\, sustainable investment\
 , and good governance. \n\nFor this term’s CRSD PhD Seminar Series\, we 
 are excited to welcome Professor Dr. Edmond Hajrizi. Prof. Hajrizi is the 
 Founder\, President\, CEO and Rector of College at the University for Busi
 ness and Technology (UBT)\, with over twenty years of experience in managi
 ng the higher education institutions\, teaching\, research\, and managemen
 t of international research and capacity development projects.\n\nProfesso
 r Hajrizi is mostly focused on entrepreneurship in higher education\, mana
 gement\, teaching\, research\, development\, training\, consulting\, certi
 fication and publishing. Professor Hajrizi holds a PhD degree from Vienna 
 University of Technology and Post Doctorate from City University London.\n
 \nProfessor Hajrizi specialises in Complex Systems Design and Management\,
  Intelligent Systems\, Sustainable Development\, Quality Management\, Proj
 ect Management\, Leadership and Business Management\, Knowledge Management
 \, Information Systems\, Mechatronics Management\, Entrepreneurship and In
 novation.\n\nProf Hajrizi is interested in the concept of Entrepreneurial 
 Innovation Ecosystems and transformative approaches to the world’s socio
 -political-economic frameworks. The seminar will focus on "UBT SMART Citie
 s\," a state-of-art Development Program\, designed and developed by Prof. 
 Dr. Edmond Hajrizi in Kosovo at UBT\, which necessitates innovative soluti
 ons across education\, research\, and policy.  \n\nProf Hajrizi will also 
 elaborate on "UBT 5S" (Small Scale Smart Sustain System)\, an entrepreneur
 ial ecosystem that serves as a testbed for future solutions\, especially i
 n education and emerging technologies. Developed at UBT\, "UBT SMART City"
  integrates sustainable planning\, advanced technologies\, and community l
 iving within a compact innovation ecosystem\, similar to a "15-minute city
 \," offering a scalable model for urban planning. Utilizing methodologies 
 like "Life Cycle Design\," it integrates smart infrastructure and emerging
  technologies to address future urban challenges.  Prof. Hajrizi will also
  share case studies that will highlight the great potential for positive i
 mpact in resource-constrained countries. This presentation will equip lear
 ners with future-ready competencies to address social\, economic\, and env
 ironmental challenges through smart infrastructure and emerging technologi
 es\, especially those doing action-research in resource-constrained\, smal
