 at the LSE\, has written widely on the subject of development and economic
 s: his interests include governance and accountability\, participation\, d
 evelopment and post-development\, and the political economy and culture of
  India. Thanks to the volume and range of his writing and teaching in deve
 lopment studies\, Professor Corbridge's "encyclopaedic knowledge of the fi
 eld is widely acknowledged to be without equal" (S Batterbury\, 2004).\n\n
 Professor Corbridge will be using this encyclopaedic knowledge to answer Y
 OUR questions for one night only. Perhaps you want to know more about his 
 views on Marxist geographies\; the case for aid expansion\; or the appeal 
 of Hindu nationalism to India's lower castes of India? Or perhaps you are 
 interested in why he believes globalisation is a synonym for disempowermen
