DESCRIPTION:When we think about "distributive justice"\, we typically thin
k about wealth inequality\, income distribution\, and access to basic poli
tical rights and liberties\, etc. But could that idea of distributive just
ice be extended to knowledge\, and is it useful to do so? This talk will o
ffer a positive answer: I will argue that injustices in the distribution o
f climate knowledge undermine climate justice in the political sphere\, an
d defend that claim using case studies drawn from my research on the Inter
 governmental Panel on Climate Change.
