DESCRIPTION:New forms of cell-to-cell communication continue to be uncover
 ed. Using zebrafish as a model\, we have developed new genetic and fate ma
 pping techniques to uncover how transformed melanocytes communicate with n
 eighbouring skin cells. This has revealed a great deal of "tissue-level" c
 ommunication across the skin\, which impacts how tumours initiate and prog
 ress. During the talk\, I will discuss some of our recent findings using t
 hese techniques and their application across cancer types.
