DESCRIPTION:We will have two speakers: Katie Jenike from the Department of
  Plant Sciences (speaking about kmer approaches to genomics) and Aleksandr
 a Bliznina from the Wellcome Sanger Institute (speaking about the fungus g
 nat germline genome). The talks will be followed by tea and biscuits\, whi
 ch will be followed by a discussion panel featuring the speakers and Charl
 otte Wright from the Wellcome Sanger Institute. We will discuss "How can w
 e best make use of diverse genomic datasets?"\, but please bring othrer qu
 estions on the topic of Biodiversity Genomics and related bioinformatics i
 ssues.
