DESCRIPTION:Sublinear bilipchitz equivalence is a weakening of quasiisomet
 ry where the additive error terms are allowed to grow sublinearly. It was 
 introduced by Cornulier in relation with the determination of the asymptot
 ic cones of Lie groups. In recent joint work with Grayevsky\, we complete 
 the classification of Riemannian symmetric spaces up to sublinear bilipsch
 itz equivalence by generalizing to this setting a theorem of Kapovich\, Kl
 einer and Leeb about quasiisometries and the de Rham decomposition. I will
  present these results in the talk.
