DESCRIPTION:In economics previous models were based on an assumption of sc
arcity. In a digital world we have abundance and many of these models do n
ot apply. There are two types of response to this\, the abundance response
which assumes it and the scarcity response which tries to recreate scarci
ty models in a digital format. Freemium is an example of the former and DR
M an example of the latter. \n\nI then explore whether there are similar a
rguments to be made for pedagogy based on the following assumptions: \n\n*
Content is free\n* Content is abundant\n* Content is varied\n* Sharing is
  easy\n* Social based\n* Connections are lite\n* Organisation is cheap\n*
 Based on a generative system\n* Crowdsourcing\n* Network is valuable\n
