DESCRIPTION:How long does it take for a scientific breakthrough to become 
 a reliable treatment helping patients with real conditions? In most cases 
 this can be at least twenty years. In this open public event we will look 
 at several important areas of Cambridge research\, how they have developed
  from the laboratory to the clinic over the last ten years and how they ma
