DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, I first explain the existence of quasi-invarian
 t lifts for completely positive G-equivariant maps where G is a locally co
 mpact\, Hausdorff\, second countable groupoid. Then I describe how this pr
 oblem leads to investigating the connection between extensions of G-C*-alg
 ebras and groupoid equivariant KK-theory. This is joint work with Suvrajit
  Bhattacharjee.
