DESCRIPTION:This event marks two decades of the Altyn Dala Conservation In
 itiative\, celebrating progress in saiga antelope recovery\, wild equids r
 eintroduction\, illegal wildlife trade\, and landscape-scale steppe restor
 ation.\n\nChaired by Melissa Leach and with short talks from Altyn Dala pa
 rtners\, the event will highlight achievements and pressing challenges. Ce
 ntral to the event is an interactive Q&A session\, inviting the CCI commun
 ity to share expertise in response to Altyn Dala’s most urgent issues. T
 his exchange will spotlight the depth of CCI’s collaborative potential w
 ith the aim to foster new connections.\n\nA drinks reception will follow t
 he talks\, during which there will be opportunity for you to engage with t
 he initiative’s partners one-to-one\, and review their educational mater
 ials on show. Representatives from the full partnership will be with us in
  person – including from the Association for the Conservation of Biodive
 rsity of Kazakhstan\, the Kazakh Embassy (representing the Government of K
 azakhstan)\, Frankfurt Zoological Society\, and CCI members Fauna & Flora
