DESCRIPTION:In this talklet I will try to share some of the problems I am 
 currently facing with my research on the field of application identificati
 on. I will give a very brief introduction of the field and present some id
 eas on the deadends that current research faces. My research tries to expl
 oit novel network data sources\, like netflow\, in order to provide applic
 ation identification. The talklet will focus more on the problem space and
  less on results\, but I hope to initiate a good discussion over the poten
 tial solution.
