DESCRIPTION:In this Dynamics Lunch discussion\, I will discuss the evidenc
 e we have for\, and dynamical causes of Earth’s early cometary bombardme
 nt. I will then discuss how the scattering of comets might differ in a gen
 eral exoplanetary context\, driven by differences in both planetary archit
 ecture and stellar mass. I will finish with discussion of recent work inve
 stigating the delivery of prebiotic feedstock molecules during Earth’s e
 arly cometary bombardment\, which has been suggested to play an important 
 role in the origins of life on Earth.
