DESCRIPTION:In a quantum universe\, the wave function of the universe prov
ides a measure on\nthe space of all classical histories of the universe. T
his can be used to\nobtain predictions for local observations.\n\nWe discu
ss several properties of the histories predicted by Hartle and\nHawking's
no-boundary wave function and show in particular this selects\ninflationar
y universes. In matter models that have a parameter regime where the\ncond
itions for eternal inflation are satisfied\, the predicted amount of\ninf
lation of our universe is large. This generates a spectrum of perturbation
s\nwhose non-Gaussian features provide a potentially observable signature
 of the\nquantum state.\n
